Being annoyed can just make a friendship harder. Being angry will totally ruin a friendship.

Well, I was going to say that one last longer than the other, but then I guess that would depend on whether somebody tends to hold a grudge.
I think that annoyance progresses to anger, as annoyance is usually via a repeated act. You would proceed to become angry when an annoyance continues. You are annoyed when it happens, but become angry when demands to cease go unheeded.
The key here is that you made your feelings known, and they were ignored.
It's not "annoyance" when you don't really know the person, or you haven't told them how you feel. That's unjustified. I believe that's when it's call a "personal" problem.
I only say that because people confuse the difference and just "throw" that word out there
An example: I just started a new job, in a new city. A lady who works there makes it known that she's "annoyed" that I got the shift she apparently wanted. Though I've tried to be respectful and friendly, she's not having it. All that went down before I got there, so it had nothing to do with me. That's what I mean by unjustified.

annoyed isnt as bad and tends to last less time. to be angry at someone implies theyve dont sometime that doesnt just irritate you but infuriates you. theyve done something really really bad. anger is a much stronger feeling, so it could take some time to forgive.

'Annoy' means to make somebody feel impatient or mildly angry or to be a source of irritation.
While 'angry ' means feeling extremely annoyed, often about an insult or a wrong.
