It was the summer of 1970... The summer of Love.
Jamie was going on a date with her boyfriend, when her dad asked where they were planning to go. "Oh, I guess we'll go dancing, dad." was her reply, and she went upstairs to get dressed.
A few minutes later, Johnny pulled up on his new Ford.
Jamie's dad met him up front. He asked the boy where he was planning to take his daughter. "I dunno," replies Johnny.
Dad replies, "Why don't you go screw?"
"HUH???" replies Johnny.
"You know, Screw!!! I heard all the kids are doing it nowadays."

Well! Johnny's mood suddenly brightened!
A minute later, Jamie comes down the stairs in a cute mini-skirt. "Let's go," she tells Johnny.

A few minutes later, an infuriated Jamie slams the door of the house. She screams, "DAMMIT, DADDY!!! IT'S CALLED THE TWIST, NOT THE SCREW!!!!"

I often hear on the news, etc. people who say something about God must have been looking out for them, because they didn't die in whatever disaster just struck nearby. Wouldn't that mean that God wasn't looking out for the people who DID die in the disaster? I believe that maybe God gives us life and everlasting life, but much of what happens on earth is just life and He doesn't "choose" who dies when. Comments?

I need an topic that will encompass topics that my businesses classes will cover over the next 2 years in college. My degree will be in Business Administration. The idea is that a topic is chosen, then over the next few years, I write a paper in each class connecting the umbrella topic and what the class is covering; I.E. Management skills class.

Does anyone have any ideas? The example that was given by the teacher was "the automotive industry". I'm at a loss.

Ok, i went to my local feed store and got dewormer but i couldnt find my normal one that i use.I asked a guy that worked there if my normal wormer was in stock,he said "No, but thats kinda a good thing...every time you get a dewormer use a differnt kind, like a pattern, so your horse doesnt stay imune to 1 dewormer."
that sounds really good and sound truthful...but would you do this?

also if you would change every time should we do that with feed too?

I'm a Christian, but not a fundamentalist or Bible literalist like Fallwell or Dobson and their ilk. I get concerned when the term "Christian" is used to identify that sort of fundamentalism. To me Christian fundamentalists concern themselves with the conduct of others rather than their own. It's like my religion is getting hijacked.

Obviously Muslims have the same problem, only worse. Many people now identify the term "Muslim" with someone who will strap on a bomb and kill innocents in the name of Jihad. Like Christian fundamentalist leaders, the words of fundamentalist imams are those that are most reported, especially if they call for violence.

What do we each do to reclaim our respective religion's truth from fundamentalists?
