Depends which guy is digging. One probably digs better than the other, so just splitting the time in half is a gross estimate at best. Also, if two people figure out how to dig in a way that makes it easier for both, this synergy would be lost so you would need to add some time onto the estimate.

You also did not specify if one of the original diggers must be the one to dig by himself; a third man with a backhoe could dig their same hole in a minute or two, or a person with a stick of dynamite could make a hole pretty fast.
