Question (So I don't get dinged): How great do you think our God is? What has he done for you in your life?

Come on Christians, let's tell all these people how great our God is.

My girlfriend and I happen to break up on Friday night, and I was crushed. I kept praying to God to keep strong, and have his will be done. Whatever God wanted, I wanted that to be, and I kept praying that his will be done, and just to grant me the strength to help me in my time of need. I started to feel a little better come Saturday night, and come Monday she called me crying. We talked for hours, and now we are working on making our relationship the best it can be, with God in the center of it all of course.

Testify my brothers and sisters, our God is great. Praise the Lord.

My husband's aunt dies. A sister to his mom at the age of 94. All sisters and brothers are deceased except my husbands mom. I realize that without a will which we cannot find, her sister or brothers kids get their mom or dad's part. There are 2 nephews living. ALSO THERE IS A SON OF A NIECE LIVING BUT HIS MOM (THE NIECE IS NOT)-IS HE ENTITLED ALSO? We are trying to find the cheapest way out...but if we have to hire a lawyer we will. I think we have to get a right of heirship to sell the house. Her home is appraised at 80,000 and she has contents that we are going to spli up between us all in a fir way. Her husband is dead and they had no children or no children from previous marriages. So all that is left is what I stated above. The sister, two nephews and a nieces son but the niece is dead. We will be looking for Texas laws on this...Thanks, I need help and so far all of you have been so helpful. Please see if this gives you a little more to go on.

I can sew for about 5 inches and then the fabric bunches up. Something seems to be caught so the stitches get very small.
When I look at the bottom of the seam there seems to be extra top thread on the bottom.
I've rethreaded, switched needles, switched thread, cleaned lint. Any ideas?

Sorry so long....

My mother (75) was in the hospital during x-mas time. During that time they diagnosed her with diabetes/pre-diabetes. She was having blood levels ranging from 130-265 while in the hospital. We got the glucose meter....etc, and started testing at home. We also went and seen a dietician and she was puzzled with my mother's at home readings, that were only ranging from 91-130. She is not taking any insulin at this time.

Fast forward to last week when my mother had to have a 12 hour fasting labwork done at the hospital. The hospital said her blood glucose was 195. I don't understand how. We have never been able to duplicate such a high reading at home, especially not eating anything for 12 hours.

I have calibrated the meter and it is fine, but I don't know what is going one. If anyone has maybe some insight as to what is going on, I would love to hear it. Could the hospital's tests be off in some way?

Hey! My son's birthday is next Saturday, and I have to make up some food. I'm not sure what to make for a main dish (if any) and what to bring for snack foods.

It's his 1st birthday, by the way. I want him to be able to eat SOME of the stuff I bring (Crackers, etc.) but mostly I'm trying to entertain a bunch of adults.

to be getting married and trying to take my son away to another location far away..how do I go into court with the focus to deny her the move..when I know waht she wants..how to not let the emotions get in the way of something that will be very painful when I have lost in court in the past becasue of my feelings for her...when she ran over me with lies, bogus allegations..fabrications..to cover her own tracks...and then blames me for everything.How do I look beyond the emotional side of me?we spent 12 years together with a semi0great realtionship on an international basis and had years of adventures and fun we were truly a couple..linked in life..but things went astray..disappoinments...and she got very unhpapy..I was too busy to see waht was happening to her..and she cannot express herself very well emotionally without blowing up.. and freaking out..some say she is bi-polar.I believe there is truth to this..
