Try laying on the floor and raising your legs so your feet point toward the ceiling. Arms down along your sides, palms down. Keep your legs together and toes pointed up. Now tighten your lower abdomen and lift your hips off the floor. You shouldn't swing your legs at all, and your hips shouldn't come up by more than a couple of inches. You can also try holding your legs off the floor at a 45 degree angle. Point your toes, and scissor kick your legs. You should try to keep your back firmly on the floor without rocking. Do these exercises along with your regular workout, and follow a balanced diet, in proper portions.

First and foremost, to burn the fat you have to have an extreme focus on aerobic activity. Cardiovascular exercise (defined as operating at 70-80% of your maximum heart rate, sustained for about 20-40 minutes) is the only thing that will effectively burn fat.
Abdominal strength training (i.e. crunches, leg raises, lateral obliques, sit-ups, flutter kicks, knee pumps, etc) will get you that six-pack effect but you'll never see it unless you burn the fat off with cardio.
Good luck! You can do it!

Lay on your back and bend your knees. Lift your bent knees up and back towards you stomach while keeping your hands flat on the floor. It is like a reverse crunch that targets the lower abdomen. :-)

You might want to look into Pilates. There are excersizes called the "Pilates 100's", many different criss-crossing excersises, and all of them are great for weight loss and muscle tone. Try googling "Pilates"
