My husband took a personal day off yesterday from work to take a test for another job. Now he has had this personal day off that he is entitled too with pay off, on the calandar at work for at least 3 weeks now. His boss got wind of what he was doing and called him in his office today to discuss this. His boss told him the reason why he is letting him go is because he did not tell him why he was taking a personal day off. His boss did not ask when he requested that day off, foremost he doesnt have to because this is his day that he is entitled too right??? His boss told him since he was looking for another job then maybe he should look for someone to replace him. There is no guarantee that he will get this other job, that's why they had to take a test for it. What are my husband's rights and is there any where on the internet to find out what his rights are. We live in Georgia if that helps with anything. So please Yahoo friends tell me what you think and what rights we have.

My band and i are suppose to do a performance for a function in 2 weeks. Since we usually assess the crowd's preference of songs and sing songs according to their test, we were wondering what songs would capture the attention of ppl of say around ages from 40 above. Our band is a semiacoustic acapella band..the only instrument we use is a guitar and the rest of it modiefied with voice. Can anybody suggest a good song which would be appreciated by ppl above 40? So far we've come up with "Sway " (by Michael Buble) and "Stand by me" by Ben E. King.

It goes a little something like this....I like this boy in my math and Language Arts class and we joke around alot! We are friends right now and I think he wants to be more than that. We were in gym and the lights were out and we were joking around as we walked around bored out of our minds with the game we were playing. I joked about him and some other girl dating (and having his kid) and he told the other girl but she didnt care, after a while I am walking and whispers "Nah, I dont care about her. I want you to be the mother of my child." but you could tell he was serious cause he would of laughed it off after words. I like him alitle bit too, what should I do?

I frequently get migraines in the summer because of the heat and sunlight. I decided to take Topamax as preventative therapy. Has anyone used this drug? What side effects did you experience? I know I can look up side effects but I wanted a real persons perspective on what they felt. Was it worth taking the medication?

They come here proclaiming that they are totally independent along with other good qualities ....(yeah whatever)

and yet, they still want to know whether men find them attractive or not ...ain't that funny????

If they're so independent(emotionally, financially, etc)....

why do they still care what other people think of them especially men?

The Mobster/Mafia gangs of the 1920s-1940s or the current LA based gangs that have spread through the country? Or even in comparison the groups of cowboys in the Wild West/ or Wild West outlaws? Which I know technically the Wild West cowboys weren't out for blood, they were more so really doing a gov't job of settlement. The Wild West was simply an adjective saying that they didn't have the same jurisdiction order that the established east had.

ok here it goes...i don't like talkin' about this very much but who cares. my boyfriend and me went to the movies for a date, along with my sister and her boyfriend. well during the whole movie my sis and her boyfriend had sex(don't ask me how they did that!) well after the movie i thought every thing was great until my boyfriend jarid started acting mad at me. i think he wanted me to go farther with him but i don't do that until i get to know guys really well becuz i got molested when i was little.please help!!!!but i know he loves me cuz i can tell when he lies. now he broke up with and is dating another girl. and he won't even tell me what he's mad at me for, he didn't even tell me we were over. i had to find that out by myself after a couple days later. plus now he's ignoring me.

When you are 17 years old, and your parents are okay with it. Can your parents go to jail? I'm going away to college in the fall and I want to live in an off campus apartment (I missed the dorm room sign up) and I was wondering if it was considered illegal to live by myself when I leave to college. i personally though his acting in his music video was awful. i really love his songs, but found his acting cringe worthy to watch. he got a talent for dance & singing but i dont think he can add acting to the list!

As many of you know, Gen. Peter Pace called homosexuality "immoral", and now there are some gay activists who are calling for a public apology. I disagree with Pace's statement, but I really have to wonder what good a public apology would do. After all, assuming there is indeed any damage, it's already been done. And not only that, but any apology that would come out of Pace's mouth would be insincere.

here is the thing i love my hubby more than anything i know that we were meant to be together, but we cannot get along at all, we did for the first year or so, but now we cant even hardly talk to one another with-out making each-other mad. the first year was like magic, but now its like we r always at each others throats. its a daily thing with us, but at night after the kids r in bed, we lay down down and cuddle and all of r problems seem to go away, until the next day when we get up and then its back to argueing. what should i do, i have thought about leaving him, but we still love each-other very much. he is always showing me how much he loves me, i am very confused. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

my husband is on medicine more than 5 month now and the blood pressure is still high and he watch his diet and the doctor change his medicine as well nothing is working his blood presssure is usually 140/100 can anyone plz advise lots of tension with worried about him .
