No. This is getting ridiculous. Now people want to legislate our sex lives.

Any sex between consenting adults who are not related to one another is none of anyone's business. Period. If someone doesn't like homosexual sex acts, I suggest he or she not engage in them. Same as I would say if someone said they didn't like chocolate cake - then don't eat it. Don't like convertibles? Don't drive one.

Why does anyone think they have the right to govern what consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms? What part of the Constitution allows the government the right to tell us what to do sexually?

The reason why those rules are in place is to stop people from doing stupid things.. Like certain relationships could cause scandal in a family, it can also be a way of blackmailing and getting secret or top secret information from another party. It's not all about what is moral but what people don't want revealed to others or by the media. It's happened before and it will happen again. Play by the rules and you are not open for bad things to happen to you.

no the government has no place telling peole what they can and can't do.
and morals are personal- they can't be dictated.

also morals aren't as important as facts. psychologists and medical doctors study what acts are harmful, in which circumstances and why. I think that research is more important than any opinion on morals

No, they should not.

AND...going further...WHEN every inch of Walter Reed Medical Center is cleaned/straightened-out (administratively, fiscally, physically, medically, and otherwise) THEN the military can tell me what is and isn't moral!

AND...going further...WHEN the military can rid itself of immoral sexual acts between officers (straight and married) and enlisteds (straight and married) THEN they can tell me what is and isn't moral!

'Cause if the truth be told...if these barracks, fox-holes, cubby-holes, officers' quarters, bed-sheets, posts, and administrative offices could open up and talk, they would each have a stomp-down story to tell...and all of it would not be about gay-sex!
