I am writing an essay for arguments AGAINST dualistic interactionism.

One of my points are regarding Brain Damage.
If mind is indeed a separate entity from the brain, why is it that whenever we receive brain damage, we see significant impacts upon our minds?

However, I do realize that this argument is not complete. I need to know how might a interactionist respond to this claim.

How might a dualistic interactionist defend their argument against brain damages?

I received a few formulas like this one, Gross = ( Total hrs ) (rate ) + (Total - 40 ) (1.5 rate). in my spreadsheet i have hours ranging from 32-50 hours worked. with this formula, i seem to be getting only the gross pay for the people who have worked only 40 hours. For example, for one person I have 58.60 for rate and 45 hours they worked. with this formula i am getting 2644.5 My formulas have to be copied down and not re-entered. Can anyone tell me why i am not getting the same answer as the one my teacher provided on his spreadsheet which is 2783.50?

Two bored casino dealers were waiting at the craps tables for players when a gorgeous blonde lady walked in and asked if they minded if she bet twenty thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice. Im married to a soldier in the U.S. army. I came over to Germany to be with him, and I mean I literally put my life on hold to come out here and be with him. Before I came out here I thought I would be able to get a job and take some classes and what not, but there is nothing here. NOTHING. All the English speaking jobs are taken, and I dont speak much German. I'm so depressed, my husband barely pays any attention to me anymore, I feel so alone and unappreciated. I dont think he realizes that I sacrificed a great deal in my life just to be here supporting him. I have so many things that I want to do, and that I want to accomplish, and while Im here with him doing nothing I feel so horrible. I dont know if I should stay here and deal with my increasingly fragile mental state or go do what I need to do for ME. I need some serious insight. Thank you in advance

i have been late on my period for the past 11 days. i had a very important test that i had to take that i had been stressing out about so i thought that might be why its been late. but my test is over and done with, i passed and have nothing going on right now to cause stress. i don't know why i'm not getting it, i'm starting to get nervous and i've even taken some pregnancy tests. they've all come up negative, but i can't help but worry. i don't have any signs of pregnancy. if anything, i have signs of my period. i've been really emotional and bloating like crazy! what should i do if i don't get it, and should i be worried even though the pregnancy tests said i wasn't pregnant! Some people are content with Pizza Hut or other mediocre pizza, and I can sort of see how perhaps someone might choose a different type of meal over that particular pizza, but if given the choice of a higher quality pizza, pizza would basically win out over any other food possible.

I'm not talking about desserts or snacks (like chocolate for example), but something to sit down and eat as a meal.

I'm talking pizza your way. Whether you're a thick or thin-crust lover, extra sauce, pesto sauce, or no sauce. Sundried tomatoes, pepperoni, or green peppers. Mozarella, gorgonzola, or cheddar.

Clearly. Pizza is simply the best food available to homo sapiens.
