I recently hired a contractor who had been doing some work to my home to build a 17Feet x 17 Feet wooden deck in my backyard.

The deck has two staircase entrances. It probably comes off the ground about 3 or 4 Feet high.

The contractor charged me $3,000.00 for the entire job that included his labor. The problem is that he has finished the building of the deck, but he did not stain it or include side panels on the bottom portion around the underside of the deck.

Should the painting and the closing of the bottom of the deck beincluded in the work? He told me that he would need to charge me another $3,000.00 to stain the deck, place paneling along the bottom sides to close it off, plaster those paneling sides and build a small bar that I want included on the deck.

The total for the deck is averaging out to about $6,500...Is this fair, or am I getting overcharged? Please Help!

Which one you think I should get from those and why? If not, which one would you prefer? I know not every cat is the same...all have different personalities, but which are known to have the gentlest temperment?

I took him to the vet and he said that my dog has no "ball" left in his hip socket and that he's not a candidate for hip replacement surgery because he is bo-legged. Glucosamine has been proven to be uneffective as an aid. I need a remedy. He doesn't act like he's hurting other than the fact he's limping. He's 8 years old and has several good years left.

Born and raised in Az and after 55yrs my sis up and moves to Colonial Height's, Va from Surprise, Az!!! Her back yard is now approx. 1/2 acre w/42 oak, maple, white pine and crepe myrtle all filled w/squirrel's. It was late, maybe late night or maybe 6:00am. It almost seemed like (family and friends) we were leaving a party or a get together. I went to my friends car to talk to him/her and there was a big vivid green frog under the car. (frogs are my phobia) i ran away and struggled to get someone to finally open my mothers car, then when i finally felt safe, my sister picked up a frog from outside and shook it in my face.I STARTED SCREAMING, but i couldnt do anything...my mom thought that my sister dropped the frog in the car and my mom said to me "Pick up the frog Brianna. Im not leaving until you pick up the frog" (she even knows that frogs are my phobia) but the frog wasnt really dropped by my sister...so we drove on and got to a gas station and i was sooo shaken up, that i was shaking..i dont remember the rest

She'll chase it, pick it up, and then run circles around me. As funny and cute as it is, I'd like to throw the ball *an impossibly large tennis ball Dad came home with that she somehow picks up* and have her bring it back. Would throwing it and tempting her with a 'treat" *kibble, to tel the truth, but she don't know* be enough to help her "get" it? Is there something else?

Fetch is possible for dogs not in the retreiver *not sure if that is the right term, but like labs and goldens and such* group, right?

She's fixing to start obedience classes, and i'm pretty sure that'll help, but is there anything I can do sooner?
