because for a couple of days after no blood comes out, brownish stuff comes out. am i still on my period when that happens?

That's just spotting. Every woman is different, so it just depends on your body. If you're not having any pains, and this is the only time that you have this brownish "stuff", it is most likely remnants of your period, and is quite normal. A period can last anywhere from 1-7 days. If you are having other symptoms, you should get checked out, but it sounds like the last dreggs of your period.

it is the lining of your uterus. You have blood the first couple days then the last days your lining really starts to shed and sometimes it keeps coming. It is really nothing to worry about. Just a little spotting

The brownish stuff is just dried blood, basically. That's still your period, it's just the "dregs".

i don't think so, i think that's just leftover residue from the monthly sheddings...i could be wrong.
