why won't my dvd player play copied dvd's?

answers from the UK only.
i bought a matsui multi-region dvd plater from currys model 320.
it says it will play CD-R, i have 10 discs that i have tried, 1 played perfectly, 3 played in bad quality with black lines through the movies and the others started to load, you got a glimpse of the menu then it had "stop" in the top corner, after pressing play it said "seq play" then "stop" again and went back to the matsui screen. is there anything i can do to get them to work?!

Spots on my breasts?

My period is due in 3 days and for the past few days I've noticed tiny white spots come up on my nipples and the nipples look slightly out of shape. I've never had this before and I'm wondering if it's a sign of early pregnancy. Thanks!

My friend and his sudden disappearance?

My friend named Brett and I chat regularly online and over the years we've become pretty good friends. So there came a time when I noticed he hadn't been online for about a week, and usually he tells me if he is going to be gone for awhile so I was a little worried. A few days after that, one of Brett's friends signed on and told me that Brett won't be available for awhile and Brett asked this friend of his to let everyone know that he will be in touch as soon as possible. I asked if he was okay and his friend said yes. His friend said Brett was at a place where he can't talk on the phone or use the internet but he's fine. He said he couldn't give out any information about himself or Brett and that I can't contact Brett until I hear from him. It's been at least three weeks since I've talked to him. I'm really confused and worried, what do you think could've happened?

Won't shut down when I ask it to?

I have windows xp and when I click turn off computer it gives me 3 options:stand by, turn off, and restart. If I click on stand by and walk away for the night, it won't go off when I turn the SCREEN on the next morning. Then, when I come back to it that morning, it'll randomly turn off on me. Do you think the wires are screwed up, or what?

Heaven and hell?

i am not religios but i jus read someones comment on somethin and it was saying about a man that died and went to hell for 23 minits then came back to life im scared i dont belive in heaven and hell i think still keeping an open mind but i dont belive in god i know that but i do belive something happens after death so the question realy is WHAT DO U THINK HAPPENS WHEN U DIE CAN BEING A GOOD OR BAD PERSON EFFECT WHAT HAPPENS ? i have always thought no cos who has the wright to judge me if god is true how can he justify creating me if i was to have a child give it no direction in life and not look after it i would be a failure in many peoples eyes and rightly so how come no one critises god for this .also if hes making me play a game with out a rule book then judging me when i do wrong how can there be wrong and wright when theres no rules ???????

Christians- do you believe angles of God is sometimes sent to heal people from cancer and diseases?

Because last sunday morning there was a man preaching on the persecution of Gods saints through out the world, and I was the only one in the church who was 2 angels behind him that were bright, even though I could not see the features of their face, you could tell they were very tall, and they were wearing a robe and were looking at me. I had bowel cancer then, and the next day all my symptoms were gone and so was the cancer, praise God. So can Gods angels be sent for that purpose. The next day all my teasts were normal thank goodness. And everything has returned to normal.

When you cheat, and your spouse forgives....?

and you are truley remorseful. How do you feel when you look at your spouse? How bad is the guilt? Was it worth it? DId it make you realize how much you actually do love them? How long doe the guilt last? I guess I want to know how it feels to hurt the person you love and loves you more than anything, and how does it feel to know that they love you enough to forgive you?
