hi...i ordered something from online but i accidentaly put in my zip code but the numbers were not in order....but it still has my name..street adress and state.....so i was wondering if my package will still come to my house...and also..i told the seller about this...and they couldn not do anything because the package was already sent out....she gave me the tracking number and when i checked online it said my package was recieved in ft.lauderdale florida....i was jus wondering if maybe it was accepted by the post office in ft.lauderdale florida to be sent out to me..or if it was accepted by someone living there in florida....i live in new york..and the package was coming somewhere from florida..so maybe it was brought to the post office in ft.lauderdale to be shipped out to me...is that why the tracking thing says it was accepted in florida?.....if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it..thankss

Ultra sound done 1 1/2 months ago also agrees with my Dr. I am measuring 2 to 3 weeks further. Which is 40 to 41 weeks today.

Say distance meaurements (y) are performed every second:
t= [0 1 2 3 4 5]

say also that the points (t,y) must be fitted with a graph of the form y=t^p. This is because it is known that there is a power relationship and the disance at zero is zero. It is also known that it is a positive increasing function.

I am given one meausrement and am asked to give an intial guess at what the power function may be.

say at t=3 I am told y = 76,

I would guess p = ln(76)/ln(3) = 3.94
so an equation of y=t^3.94
I give the equation to the person doing the measurements and he saids "thanks the equation fitted the points well"

But say his friend does the same measurements but he measures with another scale, say kilometer instead of meter. So he says at t=3, y= 0.076.

Then I guess the equaiton:
y = t^-2.35

But this guy comes back to be angry and says it looks nothing like the points he measured.

What more do I have to know, or what more should I tell them to improve the fit?

Hey,

What's the engineering reasoning behind why sometimes shear stress is neglected if it is significantly smaller than,say, bending stress. So I guess what I am asking is that why does shear stress come out soo small?

like for example, a bike pedal with crank has 300lbs vertical only force applied to it, and made a cut and analyzed it. The bending stress due to bending moment was 50kpsi while shear stress was 1.7 kpsi.

We also made that assumption when I took streghts of materials for many of the cases. I still don't know why it is safe to make that assumption.

certainly not WWI. The party was as good as over by the time we got there.
WWII, for sure, and Hitler, Mussolini and the rest of the Fascists found out the hard way.
Korea? the fact there is a country called "NORTH Korea" speaks volumes.

I really do want to know.
I mean, there are people that say we went there to find weapons of mass destruction, but clearly there aren't any. Some others said we went there to free the Iraqis, but as far as I can see, they didn't really ask to be freed in mass, and we are over there killing hundreds of thousands of people. Some say it was because Iraq was supporting terrorists, but there are plenty of other countries in the world that support terrorism, and I have my doubts that Iraq supported the terrorists that caused 9/11.

Saddam was a brutal dictator, true, but aren't there worse ones out there? And there are many more countries that are bigger threats than Iraq. Why didn't we spend that money helping the people inour own country, or use it to help stop the conflict in Darfur? Instead we go and create a conflict in Iraq.

So I really want to know why some people still say that war was great. And how many of you out there think that the Iraqis can achieve, or even want democracy.

Hurricane Katrina relief
In September 2005 Mexican army convoys traveled to the U.S. to help in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.

Mexican army convoys and a navy ship laden with food, supplies and specialists traveled to the United States including military specialists, doctors, nurses and engineers carrying water treatment plants, mobile kitchens, food and blankets.

The convoy represents the first Mexican military unit to operate on U.S. soil since 1846, when Mexican troops briefly marched into Texas, which had separated from Mexico and joined the United States. There were complaints from Mexican senators because President Vicente Fox did not ask for congressional permission to send troops overseas, as required by law, but the complaints were dismissed because it was a humanitarian mission and no armed forces were involved, but only unarmed military personnel (medical, engineers, etc.).

So we are planning on getting married and I have started to plan the wedding. I want us both to enjoy it so I ask my fiance his advice sometimes. He just shrugs it off and says he doesn't care about the wedding, just being married to me. Well thats fine but I do need some input from him right? He even got mad at me earlier today because I ran an idea about a wedding location by him! He said "I told you I don't care about this stuff" Is this normal or what? Has anyone else planned a wedding without their fiances? I mean I understand him not wanting to pick out flowers and colors and stuff, but basic stuff like wedding location and vows and stuff wth!!
