Jimi & Aussie have given you the correct answer.....Repeat again if you can still pump up the brake pedal.......Then if its still a bit spongy cut a piece of wood....and wedge the padal and leave over night...........Make sure that someone keeps the mastercylinder topped up as you are bleeding....Dont let it run dry....

Get a bleeding manual.

There may be foibles if you have ABS.

There are some vehicles where the ABS modulator must be energised otherwise you could loose the pedal when the ABS cuts in. It is important to get a workshop manual to check.

Bleeding brakes is easy crack line put a pan under them and wait till they all run straight fluid usually take 15minutes and you can do em all at same time
