I made an HTML form that contains two text fields: one for the "name" and the other for the "phone".

The user enters data in both fields and my PHP script searches for the colomn that matches both fields (name and phone). I use the following command:
$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM applicants WHERE name='$name' AND phone='$phone");

The problem is that I want if the user leaves the "phone" filed empty, then the PHP code searches using the "name" only and ignore the "phone". If the user enters the phone only, then the search ignores the name and only uses the phone for search. If the user leaves both fields empty, then the search returns all the rows in the database table. I want a method that can work easily if the number of files is more than 2 (ex: name, phone, country, ... etc.)

I'm a female who lives in Phoenix, Az and when I turn 21 I want to be a police officer. I know that a HS diploma or GED is the only thing they say they require, but I have read that unless you are at least 25 or so you would need a university degree. Is this true? Can anyone that became a cop at a young age share their experience?

Don't blame me for asking Qs like this...My life is pretty much built around Aquarius ppl so naturally I am very vulnerable to their "Psychosis"....namely, being cold, unemotional, and aloof. And I recently found that they tend to care a lot about the being of pple around them....I mean, they "care" a lot when friends having more successful accomplishment....

Of course, you can say, being jealous is just human nature, but can it also be a trait of Aquarius folks?

Think about all those romance films we watch. There are points in each movie where we feel that the characters "love" each other. We pay attention to how they look in one another's eyes, the way they kiss, the tears they shed when confessing their love, etc. And yet, all of these so-called "signs" are really just the handiwork of a couple of good actors, who in real life, probably dont have stable relationships.

What's my POINT???

What I'm asking is that if love can be so easily displayed on screen, Dont you think it's also possible for it to be "displayed" in real life ,by real people, but not truly felt?

I sold my firebird, but I still have the crankshaft that came from the motor. The crankshaft is from my 68 Pontiac Firebird 400 motor, my motor ran super strong when it was in my firebird and I want that kind of power from my 69 Chevy Impala SBC 350. I am planning on an engine rebuild for my 350 within the next month or so and I want more power from my motor, I realized that I still had my crank from my Pontiac 400. I am guessing that this would add instant power as the crank is bigger, but Im not sure if this will work. Besides, I would have no use for the crank if I didnt ask to see if this would work first. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. My 69 convertible Impala is pretty heavy, so I want a strong, more powerful, and more stout 350 upon rebuilding.
