Aspire to inspire before you expire...

My husband and I had words, but I didn't get to use any of mine...

Frustration is trying to find your glasses WITHOUT your glasses...

Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting...

The irony of life is that, by the time you're old enough to know your way around, you're not going anywhere...

God made man before woman so as to give him time to think of an answer for her first question...

I was always taught to respect my elders, but it keeps getting harder to find one...

Every morning is the dawn of a new error...

'Night all!

"The children of humanity are each other's limbs
That share an origin in their creator
When one limb passes its days in pain
The other limbs cannot remain easy
You who feel no pain at the suffering of others
It is not fitting for you to be called human"

Okay so a bunch of crazed surgeons decide you are the perfect medical guinea pig, maybe because of you have the right build or personality or just because of your great hair. Anyway said evil guys drug you and take you to their underground lair (All baddies need an underground lair) . Here they cut, saw and stitch. Then, doping you with a bunch of painkillers, return you to your bedroom and disappear never to be seen again. Next morning you wake up, sore as heck and realize...you are now the opposite gender!!! Man becomes woman, woman becomes man! After a bit of insane screaming, panicking and tweeking of your new bits, I ask you my friend, how do you deal with it?

I'm moving into my thirties and oh what a dark time it is. Should I lie and tell people that I'm 22? Most people think that I look like I'm in my early twenties.

Political Correctness For Kids
Your bedroom isn't cluttered; it's "passage restrictive."

Kids don't get in trouble anymore. They merely hit "social speed bumps."

You're not having a bad hair day; you're suffering from "rebellious follicle syndrome."

No one's tall anymore. They're "vertically enhanced."

You're not shy. You're "conversationally selective."

You don't talk a lot. You're just "abundantly verbal."

It's not called gossip anymore. It's "transmission of near-factual information."

The food at the school cafeteria isn't awful. It's "digestively challenged."

Your homework isn't missing; it's just having an "out-of-notebook experience."

You're not sleeping in class; you're "rationing consciousness."

You don't have smelly gym socks; you have "odor retentive athletic footwear."

You weren't passing notes in class. You were "participating in the discreet exchange of penned meditations."

Why did Allied Eexpedetionary Force had to thrust thousands of lives into Normandy to their death when massive Ariel/carpet bombing could have been initiated on the German defences on Normandy coast? Just like the ones we saw on Birlin, Dresden and Ruhr. Remember the Thousand Bomber Raids. It proves that there was no dearth of aricraft or munitions for the purpose.

Luftwaffe had been knocked out of commission already which Allied Intelligence knew for sure, thus unable to thwart an ariel assualt. Thousands of men would have been alive if the D-Day landings were launched after completion of a grand airel campaign over targeted beaches and inland targets.

i watched the french movie called irreversible last night, not knowing what it was about, if i knew, i wouldnt of watched it.

with its reversed chronology, with the ending at the start of the film, its camera motion and music, it took me quite a while to figure out what the store was, but then i figured that the next scene would be what happened before the one we had just saw.

i felt like the two most powerful scene, the murder scene, and the truly disturbing rape scene, which i have to say will give me a sense of reality when it comes to just how violent and disturbing some acts can be, and that these acts are actually committed alot in reality, without a doubt, the most disturbing, yet realistic films ever i have watched.

what makes it disturbing is its reality kick, this stuff actually happens, and that is what frightened me to death the most.

has anybody seen this film, and what was your take on it?

serious answers only please

thanks

While shopping, in a restaurant, at a park....ANYWHERE....& a child.....old enough to know better....walked up to you & said "your fat!" & their Parent didn't scold, correct them or anything....nor did they apologize to you for their child's behavior..

Would you be more upset with the Parent for not correcting the situation?
More upset with the child for pointing out the obvious?
More upset with the child for their rudeness?

or other...please explain

NO!..This DID NOT happen to me....but it did happen to a friend of mine....yesterday...
