If you look like you're in your 20's when you're 30 shouldn't that be something to be proud of.....30 is nothing anyhow.....just be honest, why do you have to be telling your age anyway?
I'd say just be proud of whatever age you are.....I'm 51 & know I don't look anywhere near it so that makes me proud of being the age I am....if that makes sense...lol....
Having said that I put my self at 36 -38 if I'm job searching....very naughty....

There is nothing wrong with telling a little fib about your real age, but why would you want to do that?...You should see it as a compliment to look so young at thirty..(not that 30 is old)..If you are wanting to date younger guys then you should tell him the truth abt your age, believe me he will be showing you off to all his mates and he will be the envy of everyone becasue you look so good. Guys prefer older women instead so i'd say rather be honest because you do not know how deeply you will fall for someone. Lying abt something like you age is nothing initially, but it can result in broken trust and more lies...just be yourself..im sure people will love you for who you are.

Why lie? Moving into your thirties is a fab age AND STILL YOUNG. I am beginning to be a little edgy now as I'm moving into my forties but hope this edginess will be short lived. Hell, if I start to look old what can I do? Enjoy the age you are, in 10 or 20 years you'll wish you were 30 something.

I had to use this question to respond about your September 11 answer stating "isn't it a bit late now to do anything" Aren't you aware that a murderer can be locked up for life 40 years after commiting the crime. If thats how long it takes then so be it but Bush is out of office next year and that is when the fun will begin.

NO. I would be angry if someone lied to me about their age. If you look forward to any kind of future relationship, they are going to find out your real age anyway.
Tell them the truth; besides, you may pass up on a 30-something woman that is thinking about telling a guy she is 22...

I think most people take a couple of years off,but if you lie to woman you are seeing and she finds out, which she inevitably will, she may lose any trust she has in you,i suppose its better to be honest from the start.

It's ok sure. Problem is, you always get found out and then its a bit embarrassing.
When I am asked about my age I always ask how old I look. Then I say '"Spot on'! Unless the age guessed is more than I really am. But that never happens......

I am nearly 50 but look in my thirties! And I am going to start lying - mostly because young guys think its brill to try and bed some one as old as me that looks young!
And its getting annoying now! I'm not that shallow and getting sick of being viewed as a sex object!!!

Depends.
How scared are you of people who really know the real you ?
Would you like the same happening to you ?
Besides, a lot of women in their mid-20's like slightly older blokes. Saying you are only 22 may only serve to shoot yourself in the foot.

the actuality continuously comes out...dont lie approximately it or you danger dropping the courting later. i glance way youthful than my age too and prefer it whilst people think of Im youthful yet whilst asked, i might tell the actuality. I dont promote my genuine age although if i think of the different person is youthful.
