im goin to England with a group of students from the People to People Student Ambassador Program. they give us a list to guide us, but i was wondering if anyone has had any personal experiences they want to tell me about or what i should bring. iuno. just for suggestions. i wont be going until June, but i need to start thinkin about what im going to pack and stuff. After seeing Passion of the Christ, I have a desire to learn that language I have also had an interest in learning latin. (used briefly in Braveheart)
I actually applaud Mel Gibson for making the languages used in Passion of the Christ and Apocalypto known. I have always loved foreign languages. Where can someone find out about more so called "dead" languages. Enya and Clannad sing in Gaelic, from my understanding, which is not really used anymore. J.R.R. Tolkien was a master linguist (spelling) who developed his own elvin languages for Lord of the Rings.
Other than a library which I find to be NO help at all.. how does one find out about these and other languages not used anymore.

its nearly saturday night.

i wanna dance in a nightclub.

i havent been out clubbing with my fella (just me and him) for ages. usually one or two of our mates are there.

i dont drink when i go out dancing and i am happy to go out later on to advoid the pubs and pay for my own entry to the club and taxi home.

so how can i convince him to go for a dance with me???

My son is 11, and most "kiddie" sites are too young for him, but "teen" sites are too old. Does anyone know of any sites designed for kids between 10 and 14? I don't mind some fighting or mild violence kind of stuff, but nothing too graphic or sexy. I would prefer free. Thanks!
