England is pretty rainy in June (ok, all the time), so make sure you have a raincoat or jacket and a small umbrella. It can be chilly, so don't bring a lot of shorts and t-shirts. Long pants and sweaters will be better. If you forget anything, you should certainly be able to find it over there. If you have a digital camera, bring at least one extra memory card (or lots of film for regular camera) and batteries for whatever electronic equipment you have. If you have rechargeable batteries, you'd need a plug adapter to fit into their sockets. You should be able to find one in a hardware store here. Have a great trip!

We actually don't get as much rain as people think - it's now March and the hosepipe ban / drought warning from last summer has only just been lifted. However, I would still suggest that you bring a small umbrella or a jacket with a hood.

What you will need will depend on what you'll be doing each day and how long you'll be here for - and whether you'll have access to laundry facilities.

For a short trip...a couple of pairs of shorts, jeans and some t-shirts / tops for day time. Jeans / trousers and a couple of shirts for evenings. A jumper/sweater for cooler evenings. A jacket for cooler days.

Bring things that you can mix and match so that you don't need to bring too much, but can mix things around to make it look as though you have more outfits.

We do have shops here if you come unstuck ;-)

i went to australia with this group when i was in 5th grade going on 6th and they just gave us a list. But some key things to bring are a digital camera or something like that don't bother with film and don't use your cell phone. Also bring a picture of your family to show people thats what i wish i would have brought. But good luck and congradulations on being accepted.

If you're goin from the USA you wouldn't need anything special, except for someting warm and dry/waterresistant when the weather surprises you. There's plenty of time to study travelguides, so you'll know some stuff that even the locals won't know.
Hehehe.

June can be quite hot, so summer clothes are needed. Pack a drink bottle in your backpack, UK is very dear for tucker, so be prepared.
Pack light clothes and use as layers, if it cools down put another layer on, etc. but dont overpack.

carry outfits that you'll layer, as you may actually have 4 seasons in a unmarried day! skinny layers and water resistant clothing and shoes are solid. do you opt for go back and forth coverage? A utilising licence?
