Usually after the laminate starts to peel, it is time to replace. If your as lazy as I am, then try Hybond 80F. This isn't recommended, but it is a temporary fix until you are ready to replace.

Yes, that edge peeling is easily fixed. Use polyurethane liquid glue and take a razor blade and get the glue as far under the peel as possible. Clamp it down with a board and couple of "C" clamps, not too tightly. The poly glue will expand and fill the void and be a permanent repair as it acts with moisture and cures permanetly with a very strong bond.

Get the polyurethane glue at lowes for about $4

If your lamiates are peeling on your cabinet, if they are a thicker type of lamiate such as formica or venner's then you may have some glue contact problems, but if it is melamine then you're outta luck because its such a thin coat, and it's probably not the lamite itself but the substrate. Mdf can absorb alot of moisture and swell causing the glue to breakdown. in that case you're outta luck, but if its formica or venner, then you may be able to try using contact cement which is to properly glue two surfaces like that together, but you must follow the directions closely. The most important thing in gluing (and painting) is the preperation of the surface itself.

GOOP is absolutely amazing. It goes on clear and bonds stronger than any glue. They sell tubes of it at home centers for about $4. I use it around the house all the time. It's great stuff.

The only glue that will work is contact cement.Sand surfaces to be glued. apply contact cement to both surfaces, and wait until it is almost fully dried. Then attach suurfaces and apply pressure until well cured.
