I think I'm developing a romantic interest toward a longtime friend, I'm debating whether I should tell her how I feel or not. The problem is that she told me she still has feelings for an old boyfriend, and this boyfriend is unclear whether he still has feelings for her or not. Should I jeopardize my relationship with her and say how I feel, or push it down and try to focus my romantic interests elsewhere? I don't know if this is something that's going to grow with time or not, but distance should kill it if I don't mention it. She's in a predicament already, she's getting mixed messages from her old boyfriend, she still has feelings for him, and I think I'd just create more anxiety for her, and make the situation more sensitive than it should be. Suggestions?

I watched several of the first auditions because it's the only part of the show that I think isn't boring. I like to watch horrible singers make fools out of themselves. I remember two really good friends that tryed out together and both were picked to go to Hollywood. The prettier of the two and the much better singer who said she wasn't trained I understand is in the finals. What is her name and what is the controversy about some wild pics. that surfaced? Is she still in the finals as of last night? She is such a pretty girl and if she doesn't make it on American Idol, I think she should get a modeling contract, don't you?

My employer right now is a itch to the b and reduced me to 16 hours a week (from 36 hours). I work for a doctors office and since we went electronic there isn't a lot of work for me to do.....I have three interviews next week and if I get one I dont see why I should give two weeks when I'm only there to make phone calls in the morning......I know it's standard to give two weeks, but I can't afford to keep getting such small checks.

Before you answer, consider the fact that you cannot argue that the mind is inside your physical head. It so happens that the brain, the seat of our intelligence, is in the physical location. But what has that to do with the location of the mind?

Think about the question as well as your response before answering. Please provide justification for your opinions.

“The Small Business Administration, for example, has rejected more than 70 percent of the loan applications from storm victims, many of whom are poor credit risks. Bush, however, said the agency has been overwhelmed by the flood of loan applications.

He said the agency has provided $2.6 billion in low-interest disaster loans to nearly 40,000 homeowners, renters and small businesses.

Bush, meanwhile, has spent relatively little time meeting with the victims of the flooding and touring the devastation in New Orleans. His visits there are often confined to meetings with political and business leaders.”
