CAFE IGUANA MARGARITA

Lime wedges
Coarse salt

3 1/2 cups Homemade Sweet-and-Sour Mix for Margaritas (click for recipe)
1 cup gold tequila
1/2 cup Triple Sec
16 ice cubes
12 lime slices
Rub rims of 12 glasses with lime wedges. Dip rims in coarse salt.

Combine 1 3/4 cups sweet-and-sour mix, 1/2 cup tequila, 1/4 cup Triple Sec and 8 ice cubes in blender. Process until well blended. Pour into 6 glasses. Repeat with remaining sweet-and-sour mix, tequila, Triple Sec and ice cubes. Pour into 6 glasses. Garnish each with lime slice.

That being said, it depends on the mood, and what kind of alcohol I want to drink.

When I was in HS ... Slo-gin fizz. Later, run and coke. After awhile, I really liked Long Island Iced teas.

Now, if you are wanting to get messed up, pretty quick, without much of a hang-over, try boiler makers. It's a shot dropped into a beer that you slam.

The shot provides a boost of alcohol, the beer provides some, and the carbonation gets it into your bloodstream quickly.

Grateful Dead- Like a Long Island, but instead of a splash of coke, you use a splash of Chambord (raspberry liquor). MMMmm MMmmm Tastes like a raspberry Iced Tea.
