I'm in college and I'm studying photography. I know it's what I want to do. My issue is that I don't know what direction to go after graduation to land a job. I have about year, I'm afraid I'll know nothing about where to go and how to do it. Help!

Good luck. Jobs available for professional photographers are few. I tried, for years, to land one. No luck.
Make up a portfolio of your best work. Contact newspapers and magazine publishers, ad agencies.
You might also want to explore possibilities in the military and US government.

Maybe you can try going down to photo studios, and asking if they need a photographer at the place.
