If I were in Hawaii and dropped a bowling ball in a bucket of water which is 45 degrees F, and dropped another ball of the same weight, mass,and size in a bucket at 30 degrees F, both of them at the same time, which ball would hit the bottom of the bucket first?

I though 'i MIGHT be pregnant' but as soon as i started seeing the pregnancy test results saying I WAS pregnant, I was like 'maybe it's wrong!' even though I know it's rare for a test to be wrong when it shows that you are pregant. I still had to see 5 other tests before it started to sink in

I mean, sometimes I'm really bored. When I'm bored I even sometimes do useless things like ask questions on Y!A or other completely useless things.

But Satan. How bored must a creature be to constantly fill the earth with fake dinosaur bones, to create all sorts of fake Jesus tombs, to constantly fill the heads of atheists like me with useless hatred.

I think somebody who is that bored deserves our empathy, our help even, don't you think?

i have a childhood friend that has progressively gone completely nuts. she truly believes that "they" are listening to every word she says (whispers sometimes so "they" can't hear), thinks there is some "big thing" that everyone is trying to get to and if you are too open with other people they'll get to it first... so she completely socially isolates herself, is convinced that her staph infection (skin problem that causes irritating red spots) is actually bugs in her skin that the government put there because she knows too much about this "thing" and "them", and won't take any medication her doctors give her because she thinks they're brainwashing pills... she has HUGE trust issues. etc etc. she has used various drugs in the past, but does not use anything now. i don't know much about psychology and i'm wondering what diagnosis this might fit under so that i can read up on it a bit... can anyone help?

even after man on the moon, the moonlight is stlll fascinating and mystic to me.

SOMETIMES the moon is smiling at me and telling me something, I REALLY FEEL IT.

the same is the stone .I sometimes collect stones and some stones seem to smile at me, laughing stone. some stones seem to still meditate.

so I feel like worshiping moon but not exactly like christians or hinduist do ,

one night I saw the full moon at balcony it was so big and bright I almost lost my mind I CANT EXPLAIN WHAT I FELT.

I couldnt forget this feeling. I was overwhelmed by moon maybe I can say moon was me.

Why I feel like this? Are there someone like this?

It's about a reporter looking for a couple of scientists who reportedly found immortality. It turns out that the scientists found immortality through the bacteria in the gut of some fish but by the time the reporter finds them the scientists have lived so long that they became chimps. Any ideas?

We don’t see same stars. It is because of the earth spinning, rotation and galactic momentum. We are on the outer edge on the Milky Way (Orion Arm). It is obvious that we are on the highest galactic momentum than the inner side of the Milky Way. The central part (bulge) of the Milky Way will have less orbital speed than the outer edge. Hence, we are not limited to the only view of the stars inside the Milky Way. The celestial space (outside Milky Way) contains various stars clusters and they don’t spin with Milky Way and hence we see different clusters as we spin as a Galaxy. I live in Malaysia and in Malaysia there are only two famous brands which are Whiskas and Purina. I now give my cat Purina but when I looked at the ingredients, it said that there are a lot of grains in it. I also heard that cats can't digest grains properly. Hi Guys! - My new wireless router refuses to work wirelessly!

It works fine when the Ethernet lead is connected but as soon as you remove it you lose the connection between the computer and router.
My laptop is a new wifi one and yes the switch on the front is on showing a wireless connection is required.
Have been in touch with the manufacturers of the router and they have 'promised' to get an engineer to phone back - yeah right!that was three days ago.

Please help - I'm getting really frustrated with this problem.
