Good luck, buddy! But the hardcover comes out July 21st. The paperback version usually takes up to a year to come out after the hardback, so you've got a good long wait. Sorry 'bout that.

The popularity of the hard cover of the book will determine when the paperback copy is released. It took a year for the sixth book to be released in paperback. Based on that, I would anticipate it will be at least July 2008 before the seventh book is released in paperback.

well sencie the 7th book is not even out yet it would be hard to find but the 7th book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows comes out in hardcover on July 21 2007 so i wold think that the softcover might come out sometime between september 2007 sometime between 2008 if you want to try you might find the preorder of it in soft cover at amazon.com but they might not be offering it right now
