I though 'i MIGHT be pregnant' but as soon as i started seeing the pregnancy test results saying I WAS pregnant, I was like 'maybe it's wrong!' even though I know it's rare for a test to be wrong when it shows that you are pregant. I still had to see 5 other tests before it started to sink in

No, no denial here. Nervous, scared, yes. It is much more common for a pregnancy test to give a false negative than a false positive. Don't worry, you will be fine. You should be taking a prenatal vitamin and calling your doctor for your first appointment. I wish you the best. My daughter was born a year and a half ago and she's the best kid ever. I'm sure you will feel the same about yours once he or she is born :o)

Although I knew I wanted a child, my pregnancy took me by suprise, and was totally unplanned. I sort of mentally fought it, because I had spent a lifetime avoiding getting pregnant. It made me feel like I had made some huge mistake, rather than achieved something I really wanted. I never had that overjoyed feeling that you see on TV, because I was in shock. This was too bad, because he ended up being my only child (now 16.) So, please, once it sinks in, take joy in it. And don't be scared, because no matter what anxieties you have, it will all unfold as it's meant to.

Yes when i took that first pregnancy test and it showed positive and i told my boyfriend (now husband) that it was lying to me so i bought another test and it said the same Positive but i still didn't believe it.
We had planned on having a baby cause we had been trying for 11 months but when it is put right in front of your face i think it is normal to be in shock and disbelief.
I still didn't believe i was pregnant after taking two tests then i went to the doctor, took those two tests with me and i told my doctor i said i do not know why these tests are lying to me and do you know what he said? Congrats! Here is a script for pre-natal vitamins. (Yes he did send me for bloodwork but it didn't come back that day)
I was so happy though after the shock wore off. It was something that i wanted and i do not regret my son but i think that it is normal to be shocked.
Good luck

I was a little bit in denial. For about 3 months after finding out, I would still kinda be expecting to get my period. Like, this can't be true, I just missed my period for some reason, I'm not really pregnant, I just have some nausea, everything is just as it always has been.

Yes this is natural for some of us especially if the pregnancy was unplanned. The sooner you accept it the better.
