I'm playing with an ATMega128 microcontroller and am somewhat confused how one would connect this controller to a component that requires a clock signal? For example, at the moment I'm trying to build a smart card reader. The transmit/receive data pins from the smartcard interface I can simply connect to the i/o ports of the microcontroller board. The smartcard requires a clock signal and I was originally hoping to simulate one using a pulsing i/o signal from the ATmega, however someone else advised me they had tried and not found success. Instead, using a crystal was recommended. My electronics knowledge is a little thin -- I can visualize how one would connect a clock to the smartcard reader interface if it was standalone, but it seems like the clock would also need to communicate with the microcontroller somehow? The microcontroller is running off it's own crystal at the moment. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

Ok so sometimes when me and my boyfriend get together, we fool around (not all the time though) and sometimes he wants to go farther then I want, so here the cycle – he tries, I say no, he says ok, then he tries, I say no, he says ok – he does this until he finally gets his way which annoys me, I get upset, then he asks why i’m upset. Can you see my frustration? I’ve try talking to him telling him that it’s disrespectful to not listen to me, and his answer is always no its not i'm not hurting you am I? is there any way to make him listen to me…. the 1st time?

btw, its a lot easier to just give in after awhile of resisting b/c he’ll start to get more physical.

i get another number... within minutes.
LIke first time it was 134. Then i tested right away again..and it was 113. Which number is more accurate? which one do I record?

I play basketball quite often, but recently stopped for about 1/2 year. before I stopped my right was always the better side with more control and handle. When i went back and played my left hand had better control than my right hand, therefore I dribble towards the left lane pretty often now. Now I just want a game where I can drive on both ends prettty effectively, but need equal control and handle on both my left and right arms. How should i train so both arms are equal?
