I play basketball quite often, but recently stopped for about 1/2 year. before I stopped my right was always the better side with more control and handle. When i went back and played my left hand had better control than my right hand, therefore I dribble towards the left lane pretty often now. Now I just want a game where I can drive on both ends prettty effectively, but need equal control and handle on both my left and right arms. How should i train so both arms are equal?

it's fairly basic man, practice. if you really want to develop your offhand, or your strong hand for that matter, try taping a solid object into the palm of your hand, thus forcing you to dribble with your fingertips, which is the proper way. i would suggest that if you are serious about improving your game, an hour of eyes-closed dribbling on any surface (basketball court, basement, outside, etc.) with each hand every day would be very beneficial

Both are good Answers. Also, try an hour a day of just using your left hand, dribble, shoot, pass, dunk (If you can). Back in the day, point guards use to tie there right (or dominant) hand down, but don't to that cuz the feel is unnatural and slows your movement down... I've tried it back in high school a couple of times, It's a bad idea (If you fall down for any reason, your assed out). One of the best ways is to practice with a lefty, or someone who is dominant with your off hand.

I play basketball too. When I work on my ball handling, I include both hands, that way you dont have a dominant dribbling hand.

jEither dribble two balls to work on your timing and control. Or work on using your weak hand by holding your stronger hand behind your back while you practice.
