My darling has invited me to spend some time with his family in Korea. I am not Korean and I cannot speak the language at all. His parents are keen on meeting me from what they have heard about me but I am worried I won't know how to act appropriately. Apparently, they haven't met anyone from another country before. Does anyone think there will be problems? Also, my darling wants me to call him 'Oppa' (some Korean term of endearment?) but I can't even say the word properly.

In the West, many scientists are deeply religious men, some even priests. On the other hand in the East, science is an integral part of religion.

Most religions promote hygiene, education and the betterment of humanity as a whole. While Science strives to prevent diseases, improve living conditions and make life easier. They both have the same goals though their paths may vary. Why then do they go out of their way to disprove each other rather than work in cohesion keeping aside their beliefs?

How can we then bring the two together and save humanity a lot of unnecessary strife?

I did a Tescos pregnancy test last night and 2 x very faint lines came up (but in the wrong direction that they are meant to go - as shown on the box!) but the second window shown a dark line showing the test worked properly! I am so confused! Now the faint lines have disappeared completely. I am not due until next week but couldnt wait to test and was hoping I had conceived last month and didnt test last month. Does this mean I am definitely not preg? Feeling so down :-(

...even when the "pulic" are only 20 friends whom i already know well.
i'm really upset about myself for being like this. but i'm determined to change this and i'm confident that i can make it in the end.
i know i need practice. but how? i'm an undergraduate and i have a lot presentations to do in my group, and until know things are OK because i always make my presentations sweet and short---i need to end it before i get panic and start shaking. and i want to point out that if i ever be seen shaking or obviously nervous, i'll feel so ashamed that i don't think i'll ever have the courage to face my class any more!!! i mean it!!!
can anyone give some suggestions? or can you tell me some personal experience, how you cope with it?

and i find deep breathing just doesn't work for me, nor does visualization.

My BF is a guitarist. He is very good and knowledgeable about theory, different styles, etc. He has taught guitar at our local college, and currently teaches at a music store. He really doesn't like teaching, and would rather be on the road. Does any body know any good websites that he can go to for bands looking for musicians?
He doesn't have a big need for finacial stability, just an income of some sort. No kids, etc.

I bought an MP4 player from EBAY and they never sent me the correct cable / adaptor to download and charge the device. They are not replying to my emails so the only option is to buy a cable. The MP4 player isnt branded (its a cheap 4gb ipod nano look-a-like).

The link below will take you to the Usb port.
