Me ex of 7 years left me 8 months pregnant. This is kind of therapy for me because I love hearing advice..He moved 2 months ago to take a job with his daddy..then called a month ago to break it off with me..We was supposed to be moving there anyhow..I know it isn't another woman...which was my first thought. He calls all the time and tonight we got in a arguement about child support..he thinks that I am stupid...He doesn't want me to go to court. He wants to get a statement signed by witnesses. He is making almost 5 grand a month and only wants to send me 500?? ha! The convo first started off by me asking him if he was SURE that we wasn't going to ever be together again and he said "pretty sure...why" then I started about the child support and he flipped. I told him we shouldn't talk for awhile because we need to clear our heads and he needs to be sure he is making the right choice..Should I still go for child support or just give it a few weeks? I don't know if I can until I have him.

There are some very opiniated people on here that believe that dogs should be bred ONLY for the 'betterment' of the breed. So what is that supposed to mean exactly??

What about the dogs that are already beautiful and healthy as they are? Do we just allow all perfectly good breeds to become very expensive to own and eventually extinct because no one will be permitted to breed them?

The Golden Retriever for example is recognized as one of the best all round dogs, good with kids, nice family dog... the only improvement that could be made would be maybe that they couldn't shed anymore, so what do you suggest, we breed a hairless mutation 'the hairless retriever', and no more 'Goldens' permitted??

One of my friends who's been away for 2 years moved back into town, and contacted me about 3 weeks ago. We were talking everyday online, and had a couple phone calls. Friday, he even called me while I was on the way to work at 11:30 at night.

And then since then, I haven't heard from him. He doesn't respond to my emails (I replied to one of his, and then a few days later sent him another, and he apparently ignored both), and I don't wanna send more and be all pushy or whatever. And his sn doesn't appear on my buddy list, so I thought he just wasn't signing on, but on his myspace, the last log-in date has changed to today, so I know he's been on.

So how come he talked with me so much for so many days, and then now he's completely ignoring me? And guys say girls are weird...

well, i have $350 to get a wii, and $43 to get an extra wiimote, and after i get a wii (using simple math) i will have about $100 to buy 2 games (or should i try renting first?). i'm trying to figure out
wich ones to get.

now, i really want a wii, but is it the BEST one, i deffinetly don't want a ps3, but i almost have enough to get a 360.

Did you see Melissa Etheridge sing her song about the farce we know of as Global Warming while subliminal words played on the screen behind her? Actually, I think they now call it Climate Change due to all the record freezing temperatures and record snowfall the WORLD has been encountering. Or did you see Al Gore not only coincidentally WIN an Oscar for Best Documentary, but was also escorted to the stage by Leonardo Di Caprio and encouraged to make a presidential candidate acceptance speech? I would have thought I was watching the Democratic National Convention!

About 10 months ago, my wife went to an emergency room because she was having terrible pains. We did not have the funds to pay the bill. For last few months a collection agency has been trying to collect the funds; however, we still have enough money to pay. Last week, we received in the mail a settlement offer to only pay 50% of the bill. This is something that we can arrange with our parents help. Should we take the offer of not? I am afraid to they will come later asking for the other 50%. We are college students, and we are barely making to pay our education. We the intention of paying, but health care is so expensive, and we do not have insurance. Please let have you advise. Thank you! I will attach the letter content in an additional comment.
