Dospital,
Based on your recommendation and the CNET reviews, I will purchase Diskeeper on March 1st (payday) and come back and rate your answer based on the results I get.
It sounds like a winner, and makes a point of saying that it will defrag the MFT.
The complaints I see are about slow boot-up (I reboot maybe once a month) and slow "on demand" usage.
Those who let it run in the background are saying it is wonderful.
I have enough patience to wait for a quality product to do the job right anyway, so I'm guessing I'll be very happy.

I did a price comparison today at the site for download and on CNET.
Dell had the best price at $85.00 plus S&H and tax, so the end price was the same as the download version.
This way I'll get the CD-ROM and manual delivered in 3-5 days, so I have extended the time to give a best answer rating.

Oh yeah, and by accessing Dell through the United Airlines Mileage Plus Mall, I earned 85 frequent flyer miles...
