One of my friends who's been away for 2 years moved back into town, and contacted me about 3 weeks ago. We were talking everyday online, and had a couple phone calls. Friday, he even called me while I was on the way to work at 11:30 at night.

And then since then, I haven't heard from him. He doesn't respond to my emails (I replied to one of his, and then a few days later sent him another, and he apparently ignored both), and I don't wanna send more and be all pushy or whatever. And his sn doesn't appear on my buddy list, so I thought he just wasn't signing on, but on his myspace, the last log-in date has changed to today, so I know he's been on.

So how come he talked with me so much for so many days, and then now he's completely ignoring me? And guys say girls are weird...

Its sounds like he might be hiding something from you...like a girlfriend? Or maybe after being gone for 2 yrs, then back and spending time together, he realized hes had a change of heart..just hasnt found a way to tell you yet? I think guys are harder to figure out then girls...by far! Good luck tho! (maybe its just a guy pms thing and it will pass! haha)

just ignore it and do something else. if and when he calls/emails again just continue where you left off. I was in a long distance relationship where this happened (and still happens) all the time. At the beginning I always thought it was something I said, did, or I was not good enough. It could simply be he is busy, tired, or stressed. Don't worry about it. I brought it up and it just made things worse. Especially because I did it like 3-4 times. Find someone else that can keep up with you communication wise or just be there when he returns.

It could either be that he has changed a lot in those 2 years and was only chatting you up at first to be nice and then fade away...or maybe he really likes you in a more than friendly way? Why don't you call him instead of email him and ask him what's going on?

You will only find out if he wants to tell it to you but since he does not even want to reply you a simple email then you won't know it. I think you should stop looking for him. He clearly doesn't want to be in touch with you. Maybe you said or did something that hurt him but men hate drama so they prefer to do things like this. It is his way of telling you stay away from me. Leave him alone, it is his lost!!!

Most likely he found someone or something that has taken over most of the "interested" cells in his head. There is a book out with a title something along the lines of "He's Just Not that Into You." and that's most likely the case. Generally in a case such as this, he's found someone or something that he IS that into. Sorry.

Apprently your not as close as you thought. If he was just intrested in sex, that could be the answer. Move on, to a new person and believe me before you know it he will attempt to contact you. Hopefully when he does, you do the right thing. Good luck!!

maybe he feels you are being to clingy and wanting all his attention and he just got tired of it all one day and just decided that if he didnt talk to you for a little while you would back off a bit. thats just a maybe though.

Don't try and make sense out of nonsense. He obviously isn't interested in you. Just forget about him.

Because now he has a girlfriend and doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
