Well, King David has already been done; but that shouldn't keep you from being a man with a poet's heart. The world can always use men with heart.

I named my youngest son David. I did so because I expected great things of him. He was a towhead, much like yourself, and his mother called him her "Golden Boy."

His mental abilities were high and he would have been well placed to finish college and graduate school. His love, however, was working with his hands and he was doing serious carpentry work by age 15. He still works with his hands and is a devoted family man. He has been with the same company more than 20 years.

So, follow your heart, make your mom proud and expect great things for yourself. Just exactly what you will be is part of your adventure. Consider that there is a God in heaven. Be honest, and don't commit future or spirit until you are certain it's right for you.

If you do these things we will hear from you. And if we don't? I'm sure there will be happy people around you, wherever you land.

The real object of Answers is to share ideas, feelings, problems, accomplishments, theory's, remedies, recipes, criticisms, observations, and information.
Anyone who can get 13% Best Answers is either the champion of cliches or the owner of vast libraries with the ability to research their information in a timely fashion, so I suggest you be an American Literary expert and try to figure out what and why America is.

Well...
Take courses in school of the things that interest you the most.
The majority of schools in the US aren't fit for everyone.
Everyone is different, so don't feel pressured to major in math or science, etc.
Can't help much since we don't know jack about you but, go with your talents and your passions. Work hard, work smart, graduate from college, and you'll maximize your choices.

GL!
