I asked my son where he would like to go on holiday and planned to give him the holiday of a lifetime. Having explored a number of possible destinations he decided he would like to go to Vietnam. I have discussed this with him and his reasons for wanting to vist there are genuine enough. Can anyone offer advice, guidance, suggest locations etc,.

We have a 60 lb border collie/retriever mix and she is always digging her way out!!! It's sooo annoying, not to mention damaging. I walk her almost every night for 30 min, she is rarely outside and she still digs! Is there a way to train her not to dig?

He's cancelled the whole tour now and has announced it won't be rearranged for the near future and his new album won't be coming out now. No explanation. I saw him play live in Liverpool last year and he was amazing. He's not too old and can still sing. Wonder what's going on?

Why does this guy always manage to get into trouble wherever he goes? Is he the only one that does know how to act in public, cant he just go somewhere without a fight or shooting when he leaves. Maybe the media is just twisting things and making him look bad. I mean if Iverson can stay out of trouble why cant Pac Man. He gets made millions to run around with a football and he is still acting like he is broke and in the hood.

If a person were to consume only a small amount of alcohol
would it be more likely that they actually believed they were intoxicated (Placebo Effect) or that they were acting/ pretending they were intoxicated for the benefit of saying so. (Benefit: Peer Acceptance or getting away with more)

Also, If someone was given a piece of gum and was told it had a powerful hallucinogen (Acid/LSD) would that person more likely actually believe that they were experiencing hallucinations or acting like they were having them?

Also:
How much of a role does body weight play when it comes to substance tolerance?
Does experience with consuming the substance have anything to do with it at all?

I would also like scientific back-up/ sources (if you have any), please.

God and the literal genesis interpretation are two examples, but I fail to understand why people would continue to believe in any things that are pure allegory, demonstrably fake or plainly idiotic. Ghosts aren't real, David Icke talks a lot of rot, Uri Geller is a fake, crop circles were made by a couple of bored dudes and copied the world over. Some people believe in a god (or gods) but gods are no more likely to exist than (as Bertram Russell put it) there is a china teapot orbitting the sun.

James Randi stilll has a cool million to give to anyone who can prove to have supernatural powers and so far not one person has managed to demonstrate such powers in controlled experiments. Yet people still believe in these charlatans.
