yes, because a fart is the elimination of gas produced by the bacteria in the intestines fermenting the food stuff. Fish have bacteria in their digestive tracts that ferment food. So yes! fishies do fart! Someone should take a picture

Yes, and weather loaches (pond loach) have turned it into an art form - they deliberately swallow the air bubbles so they can do it more !

I've SEEN them do it. Little bubbles...lol.
Also, when you clean them, if you squeeze them hard enough, they fart!
