pc soundrecorder?

when i record sounds using the pc recorder, it sounds very low and you can barely hear it. it sounds like if you were a little ways from a car and they had their stero system playing, it sounds like you are far away or something.. please help he change this.

And where exactly IS your microphone, in relation to your mouth? Don't blame the program for your physical arrangement. Closer is better.

You have your microphone volume turned up too high and the gain too low.

START> All Programs> Accessories> Entertainment> Volvme Control. Click the Advanced button under Mic Volume and turn on the microphone boost.
