Without it, darlings, we would be unable to wear trousers, vote, work and keep our own money, live without the financial support of a male, be protected by law from domestic violence and rape, go to a doctor's surgery to ask for the Pill without being married, get married and keep our own names, have sex with some sort of equality where even if the man doesn't make us come at least female orgasm is acknowledged to exist, go to university, travel without chaperones, earn equal pay (COUGH), run anything larger than a kitchen, be in government local or national, have any kind of profession....sure, if you want to give that all up.....fine by me, I'm keeping it.
