I have a linksys wireless-G broadband router model WRT54G. I bought it off ebay in order to get internet on my PSP. I also have a wired linksys router that is already installed. i went to the routers website and looked at the manual guide for how to hook both routers up. It told me to enter the ip address 192.168.1.1 into the web browser. but when i did this it said page could not be displayed. Can someone give me some tips on how to set it up and take me from there. i am as lost as can be.

It helps to be plugged in to the wireless router in order to configure it. So I'd suggest connecting to it via ethernet cable first. Then open a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd) and type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter. Then type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter. In both lines above, leave out the quotes. This should get you talking to the router. Now open a browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. This is the default IP address for Linksys routers. If you want to make sure that the router has its default settings, use a pen tip to push the reset button on the back of the router while plugged in. Hold it in a good 20-30 seconds and let go. The router will be reset to its default settings. Anyway, back to the 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. After entering this and pressing Enter, you should get a login window. Leave the username field blank and enter "admin" as the password, again minus the quotes. This should get you inside the router where you can set it up.

As far as properly connecting everything, do you really need 2 routers? Could you replace the wired one that you already have with the new wireless one? If not, make sure the ethernet cable coming out of the modem is plugged into the Ethernet port on your wired router. Then take another ethernet cable and come out of any of the 4 ports of the wired router into the Ethernet port on the wireless router. I'm not sure whether or not you'll have to turn off DHCP server on either one, but perhaps this will get you into the router and you can continue with the help on the manufacturer's website. Good luck.
