I don't know what grade you are in, I am a recently retired elem. teacher. All along the way you are tested to see what reading level you are at and what math level etc. If by chance you are low, and your parents are told this, then they should grant you some slack because it might not be your strong point, but on the other hand, if they find out you are fully capable, then you are fully responsible to produce !

the first part is to be organized and to set out a time for homework. make a schedule for yourself. The next thing is to come up to your teachers and get all the work you missed. Also, you should pay attention in class and take a lot of notes. Also, try to come up to your teacher, or stay after school, if you don't understand something you learned in class.

It is harded for some to get good grades..just have to study harded...get a study buddy to quiz you. If you really don't get it ask your teacher....maybe you should be tested for learning disabilitys. Good Luck

the only way to make better grades is to study hard, if you are not comprehending the work then see if you can get some tutoring or ask you parents for help.

does your school have a learning center? if so ask for help. what are your grades now? are you struggling or is it missing work? absenses? if you are struggling, talk to your parents try explaining that to them. if it's missing work and absenses then ask for an extra copy of that page or maybe an extra credit project.
