The last pizza I ordered said it would be about an hour.I said ok.2 hours later I called.They said it was on the way.20 minutes later he showed up and i said i 2 1/2 hours for a pizza? The delivery guy said not the first time,wont be the last time..and the pizza sucked.I think they should wait as long for their paychecks when they need them in a hurry, as they make us wait for dinner!

I hate waiting for it. I feel like it should be like when you go to mcdonalds or something. By the time you pay for the food, your pizza is ready. I know that when I want pizza I want it now and thats all there is to it.

I live in a very small town, we have only one of each fast food place here.
When I order a pizza, I have to order at least 2 hours in advance because they don't hire enough drivers to deliver.
If I had enough money, I would open a pizza parlor and market (and guarantee) delivery in 30 minutes...or we tip them!
P.S. Always tip...drivers remember just like chefs do!

Consider yourself lucky. I live way out in the country and can't get delivery out here. I have to drive more than 20 minutes one-way to pick one up and then it's ice-cold by the time I get back home. So, I would looove to be able to wait for hot pizza as it comes right to my front door! LOL

lol no not really... they do have a thing called pick up tho =]
always a good idea to consider if you hate waiting... orrr u can order earlier so it will come by the normal time u eat dinner... cuz last time i ordered pizza it came at 8:30 then i didnt eat it cuz it was too late..

I hate waiting for anything.
My favorite type of Pizza is neopolitan style. They cook it for about 90 seconds in a wood burning oven, so you don't have to wait much.

Lately, I've been eating frozen pizza from the supermarket. It is not as good as take-out pizza but it's quick to cook.
