I asked my bf and I told him to be completely honest of what he thought of me (appearence wise) and he said I was a 8. Why isn't he with someone he thinks is a 10? I feel bad I am not everything he wants. I know personality is more imortant, but would'nt he like a girl he found more attractive? Should I suprise him with plastic surgery? I think it is my nose that is a little big.

No one is perfect. He probably considers a 8 to be a great rating for you. Plastic surgery is not the answer. Talk to him about how you feel inferior based on his judgment of your looks. He probably doesn't know he upset you.

Look, girl. Somewhere around 95.9% of people in the world don't rate a '10'. You will find that some so-called 10's can't keep or get a relationship. You will find that some so-called 10's can't get someone to look inside to see the beauty within when that's all they really want.
Apparently you're young and still trying to find that self confidence and self esteem, which is not a bad thing. But darling please stop looking at the standards on t.v and videos to define what a '10' is. In the scheme of things....it REALLY doesn't matter.
Work on being kind to others, try to find a way to help people that are less fortunate, become more responsible with your life and other people's emotions. You might only be an '8' in looks, but you could be a 20 as a person. My mama always told me that a person can be beautiful outside but an ugly inside can ruin the whole package. Stop worrying about if you are everything he wants and worry about being everything oustide and inside that you can be.
One more thing, it doesn't matter if you're and '8', '10', or a '3'...there are no guarantees that a cheater won't cheat. Don't go putting yourself under the knife for anybody!!

Don't waste your money on plastic surgery. An 8-you are doing pretty good, young lady! Please, do yourself a HUGE favor, don't concentrate so much on the physical appearance as being important to be a 10-concentrate on personality, honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, etc. to be the best at. For yourself. Not for anyone else. Once you are happy with you, everyone else will be too. Sounds like your bf sure is happy to be with you. And, it sounds like the only thing you don't like that well about yourself is your nose. Get to like it. It's part of the original equipment. And some guy (either your current bf, or someone else) will think it's cute! Honest. Oh yeah, don't be mad at your bf for saying 8 and not 10. He was being honest. Take care.

You asked your bf to be honest and now you are upset that he didn't lie and tell you that you are a 10.
If you want to be a 10, forget the nose job, and get a boob job....
Maybe he is only an 8, and didn't think he could do better than you.
Maybe he is lazy, and realized he wouldn't have to work as hard to keep an 8, than he would a 10.

For one, you shouldn't feel bad that you didn't rate 10. (I mean, who does? NO ONE'S perfect!!!) And if he doesn't think you're a 10, then, more than likely, he's the one that's nuts. No, you shouldn't try plastic surgery. If he doesn't think you're all that, that's HIS problem! You shouldn't let his answer 2nd guess yourself. Besides, you should know that, as women/girls, we tend to over-analyze things when, with men/boys, they're just not that deep. (They're pretty much the kind that aren't into subliminal meanings. That means, they say it like it is, but that also doesn't mean, just because he rated you an 8, that he doesn't like you at all. If he didn't, he wouldn't call you his "Girlfriend".)
Just take it with a grain of salt, take a breather and move on.

Don't ask questions that you don't want to hear an honest answer to. Why isn't he with a 10? Maybe because he realizes that the 10 is probably only a 5 once you get to know her. Wouldn't he like a girl that's more attractive? Not necessarily, see previous answer. Physical attractiveness is not enough. Should you surprise him - no. He obvious likes you already Why change what is already working - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You got an 8, be damn proud of that. Sorry hun, but 10 is perfect and NO ONE is that. I don't care what anyone says, there is no such thing as a 10. Be happy that he thinks that highly of you and don't take it for what it's not. I will suggest this though, if you don't think you will be happy with his answer, don't ask. Trust me, i make that mistake all the time.

He probably considers 10 a playboy bunny and he isn't leaving you because your personality is way to great and he loves you for you and not looks...Honestly I would love to have a boyfriend like that. Also he probably couldnt even get a girlfriend as good-looking as yourself...NO PLASTIC SURGERY. God made you pretty enough!

its not bad to not be a perfect 10 a perfect 10 would mean being completely fake and plus this is just one guy..yeah he is your boyfriend but still one person thinks you aren't a 10 and this could actually be taken a good way that means he likes the way you look but that's not what your relationship is based on he likes you for you too!

don't change yourself. my wife is a 8 and i love her to death. i saw a 10 in my life and she isn't anything to my 8. he has the same scale all the men do and just because your not a 10 out side your a 10 to him inside.
