I'd like to go back to college - but dag gone college is expensive! How on earth can you afford to go back to college as an adult w/out going into debt with student loans? I've tried to find scholarships but it's hard. And the FAFSA does nothing for me - they don't consider me "poor enough" to get any help. And heck I could probably pay for college if I had no other expenses FAFSA! Anyway, are there any people here who have gone back to college as an adult? How did you do it financially?

Or can we afford to just ignore the problem and pray it goes away? Or should we be wanting armageddon? What does God want? Hell, here on Earth? Should we as a society be looking forward to watching hundreds of millions (and maybe billions) of people die from hurricanes, fires, flooding, drought, starvation, and/or panic stricken people fighting each other for a chance to live? Should we be looking forward to living in temperatures as high as 70 deg C (158 deg F), or living on boat houses because our homes are underwater? Have we wronged the Earth (sinned) so badly as to deserve this? Am I evil? Are you evil? Are we all doomed?

I must admit, no movie I've ever seen, even the scariest true story horror film about a guy from my home town carving people up, no movie ever scared me this much, or kept me frightened for this long (bar one, since I'm being honest, which was R 18+ rated that I saw at the age of 9 at a badly managed birthday party).

Is our moral imperative inescapable?

I know it's kind of late to ask but hoping someone else has rented thru them and maybe it would help stop my sister from thinking so negative about them. I did check the better business bureau of Florida and found nothing. The place I usually rent houses from were booked so I decided to go with Florida Five Star and got us a poolside home 1 mile from Disney, now my sister thinks we are going to end up at a vacant lot with no house. Yesterday, I saw my crush at the subway station since I was commuting home from class. The thing is I saw him as was coming down the escalator and he was kinda facing my direction. When I looked at him, he had his eyes lowered and I kept walking past him since I was angry with him because he told me I was too weird to be his friend. Then I felt a wave of hurt, I almost cried as I was taking a seat on the subway. I just hope he didn't see me, but I can't say for sure. The thing is I know deep down this guy is a jerk since he only played with my feelings so I would sleep with him. I want get over him since I know he's not right for me.

My younger cousin's formal sweet 16 party is tonight. i got my hair touched-up last sunday, so right now it is straight. my hair is shoulder length, but i don't want to wear it out like i always do (i'm self-concious about my neck normally, but i really dont care tonight since its just family and im not concerened with impressing 16 year olds). i need a simply style that I can do on my own, that doesn't require too much time and hair gel. i was thinking either a low ponytail of some sort. Or an updated 50s-style updo that i've been seeing in hollywood. suggestions?

Recently my cheeks have been really red. Some think I may be allergic to something while others think it is the cold weather. In the morning, it isn't as bad but when I work out, go out in the cold, or even wash my face (I put cleanser that is for sensitive skin), my cheeks become extremely red. Is it acne, allergies, or something more serious? I want it to clear up because it's really annoying considering that I have clear skin elsewhere on my face.

My mother, my youngest daughter and I all suffer from the same problem. Each month during our cycle, we vomit, pass out, have very painful cramping and heavy flow. We are told there is nothing that can be done and we just need to try to alleviate the symptoms. We have tried Raspberry leaf teas, Ginger Ale, prescription Motrin, etc but nothing seems to help. This causes missed days from work and school not to mention the suffering.
Anyone else out there have any advice?

Im from Chicago so Im in full support of anything pro union. I hate big bussiness and will never buy or accept anything that was made by Fannie May for the rest of my life after what they pulled. I was just wondering what the rest of America feels about this.
