Recently my cheeks have been really red. Some think I may be allergic to something while others think it is the cold weather. In the morning, it isn't as bad but when I work out, go out in the cold, or even wash my face (I put cleanser that is for sensitive skin), my cheeks become extremely red. Is it acne, allergies, or something more serious? I want it to clear up because it's really annoying considering that I have clear skin elsewhere on my face.

My skin naturally is a combination of oily and dry, depending on the season, but it's also sensitive.

If I do have rosacea, will it clear up right away? I'm going on vacation in a couple of months.

I do hate it when people think it's allergies.

Probably Rosacea.
Try to stay out of the sun as much as you can
and use sunscreen and a hat.
Have fun on vacation!
Good luck.

It could be Rosacea which is cause by tiny broken blood vessels that give the appearance of redness. It usually appears on your cheeks, nose, and chin. I have it and the Metrocreme the Dr. gave me only made it worse. I use consealer to cover it up! Ask your Dr. about it.

Could be the onset of rosacea. Best if you get a professional dermatologist to take a look. In the meantime check this site out http://www.rosacea-remedy.com to see if it soundslike you might have it.

Good luck :)
