I bought a really cute pair of white pants last night, but when I tried them on, again, this morning I realized they're a bit translucent. Do I leave them as is, or do wear nude/sheer pantyhose under??

I don't think pantyhose is necessary but panties, yes. Nude color is less obvious than white. And make sure they are the panty line free kind.

Well, whenever I wear white or other light colored pants I always wear pantyhose under them to keep everything looking smooth and uniform. But if you're positively set against wearing them, the trick is to wear something that doesn't contrast with your skin tone. Pretty much any kind of white panties will show, so your best bet would be to wear beige or a nude shade (assuming you're caucasian), probably in a thong or g-string style. Another possibility would be to wear some type of nylon shaper (such as Spanx) that are made of a pantyhose-like material but are only knee length. Either way, you shouldn't have to worry about anything showing through!

wear the pantyhose underneath
- it'll work very well
during the day you should wear nude/sheer to look prfessional
- but a night wear them with black pantyhose to catch peoples eyes: it'll look very sexy

this is my stial if i buy a pair of white pants i where a bright color under them then I get a pair of sissors that i like to use and cut holes on them and then i out a skirte iver the top like a miny skirt them i go to where i want to go and all eyes are in me

I bought the cutest white capris and had the same problem. I wanted to wear them, but couldn't find anything that looked okay.
So ... I went bare underneath.
It was always okay, and I never had any problems.
(just don't wear them if it's about time to start your period! - that would be an awful surprise)

Everyone who said wear a tan thong is accurate. White would be the biggest and worst mistake.
It was even on Oprah!

Wear panties that match your skin tone as close as you can get them. Not white they will show more then you would think. I would also go with a full brief panty ( granny panty style).

nude pantyhose will work, also a nude/flesh tone thong will work as well as flesh tone underwear.
