It seems clear to me it was in 1933 when Roosevelt put us on a permanant state of emergency power and added the American people to the Trading with the Enemies list according to Senate Report 93-549.
What does your understanding of history suggest to you is the year we became Fascistic?

Let's avoid the name calling and childish accusations for a bit OK? I would like to foster some real debate on the following question. "What conditions (social, political and economic) must be present in order for a society to not only survive, but flourish?" Please address your comments to the actual question (not "libs" or "cons" etc) and support your statements, where possible with objective (observable by anyone) reasoning and logical argument.
Please extend your conclusions to their logical end result. Please address only what you believe would be successful, not what you believe would be harmful.

And no, this isn't a school assignment. I am 55 years old and far past having to fill paper with regurgitated opinions of some professor.

I actually am very interested to see how many people enter into the discussion and how many can stay on point. I will respect all answers given within the criteria stated.

Let's focus on the typical homophobic insult you might hear talking to a phobe. It's usually a name and it sounds like a 3rd grader made it up, similar to 'booger head' or 'poopy face' only it usually has to do with sex so it's a immaturity and inappropriateness formed into one. For instance, "fudge packer" or "sausage sucker." Why are so many homophobics using names like these? Do they really think they've come up with a good insult? Do they honestly feel they've hurt a gay person's feelings or what? To me, names like that sound like a 76 year old lady's euphemisms because she's too scared to come right out and say exactly what she's referring to. I guess the typical homophobic thinks this is a cruel way to refer to some gay people, when it just sounds like a wimpy euphemism because they don't want to come right out and say it. Maybe they just think they're funny because of the comparison they've made and it's not really meant as an insult. Homophobics, stop it with the lame names!!!

We have paid holidays. We are only paid for the holiday if we come in the day (our scheduled days) before and after the holiday. For example if there is a holiday on Monday we must come in to work Friday and Tuesday or we will not be paid for Monday. Is this a common practice in professional companies?

Two of the finance officers who are junior to me but are very close to the manager finance are creating problems for me. Both failed a promotion exam in which I was member of the assessment board. Both of them are above 50 and I am 30. They are always looking for opportunities to let me down. Having found no mistakes in my work they have now turned to my character. I have talked to other seniors but it seems they want to remain out of it. The tactics used by them are that they have turned my friends into my enemies by feeding them with base less things and proving that they will earn in my loss; they are constantly prompting the manager finance to report against me in matters that are often not related to me. The manager finance is a person who used to earn a lot of black money by misusing his position, it seems that I am in his way. This is going on for the last one year. I believe in the good in people and believe in helping others not to make mistakes ininstead of letting them make mistakes and later blackmailing them for their mistakes.
