i have a problem in electrics in physics:

a dry battery of emf=3.0 volts supplies current thru a circuit in which the resistance can be changed. a high resistance voltmeter is connected across the bettery. as the current in the circuit is increased,the voltmeter reading decreases.explain this....


i cannot get that if the current increases(meaning the resistance must have been decreased), then why does the voltage increase?...i mean voltage is fixed,isnt it?

This is something that really has a hold on me. A ground hog see its shadow, that means more cold weather. In this day of doppler radar, pin-point weather forcasts, etc. can we really believe that one ground hog decides whether or not its going to be a long winter?

My friend claims she has out of body experinece and says her soul actually floats out of her body as she is dozing off and she can see her body and everything and then after a little bit she will go back in to her body and jerk and wake up. i believe her but she says she does it more often when she is high on pills and goes to sleep...yes shes a recovering drug addict and im trying my best to help her......she swears it not a dream that its completely real....so what is going on with my friend and does this happen with anybody else?

Hi iam ramya 23 years old, iam under weight and i have tried many things to gain to weight but theres no result at all. Iam only 36 kilos which is really making me depressed and inferior in public.

I have tried eating all proteins and calorie foods but is of no use to me....

And few of my friends say that its too difficult to gain weight after 20 years and this is making me feel bad again...

Is there any one who can help me in this .... please provide where i can gain weght i a healthy way...

My grandma has been vomitting for the past two days and I woke up around 2 AM and I could barely lay down because my stomach cramped up so bad and I have gas so bad... I went to the bathroom and I couldn't use the bathroom but I had no problem throwing up, I have thrown up about 8 times since then and my stomach is still very gasy and I can't lay down without it killing me. I'm throwing up clear or white chunks and it smells funny. Does anyone know what this could be? Serious answers please.

Hey. I'm currently in 8th grade and am planning on trying out for cheerleading next year in highschool. I dont know too much gymnastics, I can do a cartwheel and a handstand but thats pretty much it. I take dance if that helps. And I'm pretty good at it too (at least I think so, lol.) I've been to plenty of the highschool games to know some of the cheers. Also, when I watch them it doesnt seem as if they are lifting up people or doing any tumbling. So I'm thinking that our team isn't that hard to make? Or does it just seem that way because of the little that it seems like they do? Anyways I just wanted to know from current or past cheerleaders. What are the basic things I need to know for tryouts and such. Please help! Thank you soo much!!!

my infant of 81/2 months doesn't like anything he used to like milk but now he hates more than anything and cereals he makes sure he coughs till he vomits them,he can't eat anything and i am no expert on baby foods the only thing he likes is water and i can't feed him on water alone. what is the other ways to feed him so that he doesn't stay hungry he is loosing weight and even his skin is showing . please give me some ideas.
