is it possible to double major after transfering from a community college if i am only doing one pre major req at the community college?

Yes. But depending on how "related" the majors are, and how much the school will allow "double dipping" (where one course can count for a particular area in both programs) you might need extra time to complete the double major.

If you are interested in both areas, it would be worth it.

Your best bet is to talk to an academic advisor who is familiar with both programs and get their advice because it is handled differently not only between schools but even within schools depending on the programs. Good luck.
