Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Jesus Christ and Christianity as a whole! But I wish church didn't have to always be SO boring with slow, outdated hymns and boring sermons. So, here are some suggestions that could improve church:

a) Play rap music! That is, Christian rap, NOT "urban" rap!

b) The pastor should be allowed to cuss in sermons! If he said things like, f this and f that, holy s*** that, I don't give a s*** about this and that - I would laugh my butt off and I would definitely go back to church next week!

c) After church, have a wine reception. Wine is obviously used in the church already, and if God didn't want people to drink, why did He have his own son turn water into wine at the wedding at Canaan (sp?)?

d) Have fluffy, cushioned seats instead of the hard, uncomfortable pews that a lot of churches have.

Any other suggestions? What do you other Christians think of these "improvements"? Non-Christians, would things like that get you to go to church?

I have to wake up at 5:45am on weekdays, which is fine, but I recently I have been naturally waking up anywhere from 3-5 in the morning and I can't get back to sleep. Please help. I'm 17 and still growing.

I mean when you see the likes of pop idol etc where it seems everyone wants to be famous/rich etc (yet any glance at the priory clinic shows that this often does not lead to happiness)..

Also I notice how my young cousins are very materialistic/not keen to work/hedonistic..

Is this a new phenomenon or just a normal adolescent phase? Cannot see either of them being happy to work every single day in a job they despise as a cleaner like my Mum did just to survive/scrape by.

Lately, ive been having this strange chest pains. It kind of feels like food or something is stuck in my chest. Also, I have been having a sore throat and back pains.
