Perhaps they do not believe in controlling the cat population.

No animal control or SPCA. Don't have there animals spayed or neutered and no laws to enforce it. Irresponsible pet owners. Lots of places for cats to hide and have more kittens. Cats are good runners and jumpers. Cats have very good survival skills.

where in itlay have you been? so far im in venice for 4 months and i hardly see any cats, i only see dogs.
