Why does it seem that the biggest opportunists are the biggest loosers in life?
I mean that the moochers and bums and bum-etts out there who will never miss a chance at getting something for free or a chance of taking advantage of someone.
And are also the most savy when it comes to government handouts or programs and the whole --are the biggest failures in life - You would think that they should be the most sucessful being they know how to manipulate people. They for the most part can't hold down a job- they spend their money foolishly- and rarely can keep a man or woman. --
Anybody out there that can shed light. If you don't agree that's OK because you are prob. one of them. So I guess this question is for people that contribute to society.

I like this celebrity, because I feel that I have so much in common with him, personality wise. Everytime I hear his music, or see him on the television, I instantly feel at ease. But I feel as though I'm losing my mind, because he'll never know that I exist. I talked to a friend about it, and she believes that there is someone in my personal life right now, that is very similar to my favorite celebrity, and that I really like the guy in my life, and not the celebrity. I can understand why she would suggest that, because those two men have some similarities as well. But I don't quite feel that that's all of it. There's something else about this celebrity that makes my mind wonder, and my heart flutter. I hope that its just a useless crush, that i'll eventually get over, cause this is really confusing the heck out of me. Can anyone elaborate my situation for me; maybe by prior experience, or a few words of wisdom. Thanks. (Serious answers please!)

my fiance' mother is a very difficult woman. She likes to have near complete control over his life, (he lives at home, as do I) and makes very tactless comments to me about him and our relationship. I'm very much in love with him, but she's a near unbearable force between Nick and myself.
For the most part she's a wonderful woman, very kind, but then she says something (for instance about his ex-girlfriend stephanie whom is still crazy for him) that is so COMPLETELY misplaced. she also likes to make events that are more me oriented very difficult to accomplish.

Okey.....so i downloaded the frieakin thing...and i tried to download an update. this window keeps popping up telling "Error:Retrieveing update into file Socket Error #11004" any idea what that means? when i first knew i had spyware, this thing called PEST TRAP popped up and said i had it. my desktop has been robbed of of its backgrounds, but that seems to be it. i dowloaded another free software and it sedd there was nothign on my comp. i hate to beh' writing this much. but i love my computer. o.O

I bought a memory card for my cell phone and whenever i hooked it up to the computer and try to move pictures/music from my computer onto the card i won't let me. It says it " cannot copy. disk is write-protected". But I can move files from onto the card from my phone. How can I remove the write-protection on the card??? Please help, this is driving me crazy!

I have told someone that I am cutting. My girlfriend she is the only one I trust and I don't want to go to counseling that's why I am asking here I didn't know that it would be so hard to quit. My friend she used to cut her self and that's why I never told her.(was afraid she would do it again) But I did one day and she said she had cut her self again(not because if me though) not more than once and only that day but I didn't want her to do that again so she said she wouldn't do it again, if I really tried to quiet so that's why I want to quit.
