Everyone talks about the parables and such that Jesus spoke with and the fact that some things were shared with some deciples that weren't shared with the others. What do you think the secrets were all about and how did you come to these conclusions?

define morality? How are your morals better than mine? why? Why are your morals better than some guy on the other side of the world? Without a standard for morals, you have no morals.
Christians have the bible as their standard. It is unchanging. What is correct today will remain correct tomorrow. Can you say the same of your morals?

My family was planning to travel up to Solvang ( it's a Dutch Village with shops, restaurants, etc.) on Sunday, but unfortunately, they are predicting alot of rain all weekend. So, now we're looking for something "rain friendly" to do in So Cal. We live in Riverside County but don't mind driving to L.A, San Diego, etc.

Also, it should be something that takes most of the day, not just "a movie" or something like that. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

he has a new woman, but he has forgotten about his family. he just calls but never has time for my brothers and me also for his grandchildren. my mom died a year ago of cancer and he was with her all the time but after a month he started to go out with this lady. he spend all of my mom's money that she had in her insurance for him. and he doesn't have no more money left. we think that he spended with her it was alot of money for it to be gone so fast. but he says that he had bills to pay.

so, a girl tells me, "...if you'd like to get to know my roommates and I better..."
NO - she did not mean a 3-some.
NO - none of her roommates know me.
I'm trying to get to know her better. lunch. movie in a group. etc.
yesterday, i ask her, "i'm craving for pizza. would you like to go to dinner with me tomorrow....cause I don't want to you to starve..."

she doesn't respond til she's done with work.
her: "how are you doing, etc."
her: "i didn't mean to brush you off yesterday....but if the pizza dinner is a date, I'm....not interested."
me: "well, I was just asking for pizza."
her: "oh...I must have read it wrong then."
me * her: idle chat.

so i'm confused. granted, i got shot down. but some explanations here? Why does she say, "get to know me and my roommates better" if she doesn't want it to happen? Why couldn't we just have dinner and not be a date?

Is it considered "combatitive" if I call her up and tell her this?
I work in same place b/not with her.
I did get my pizza & beer

... You are not to kill him, or even give him permanent damage in any way...just a lot of bruises and maybe a broken bone or two...he is, however, completely innocent of any crime, and by doing this you run the risk of legal penalties...do you do it???
